The greatest miracle of the Crosstranslated

The feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross gives Christians the opportunity to always remember the insurmountable sacrifice of Christ on the cross. Realizing his "eternal will", his eternal plan, God the Father sends his Son into the world to give himself up to death, in order to rescue from eternal loss every person who will believe in him and grant him "eternal life" (Sunday before the Ascension).

Christ emphasized that there is no greater love than this (Jn. 15, 13). Since then the Cross, "the sign of the Son of man", became the symbol of supreme sacrifice, the image of infinite love. From cursed wood, it became the Holy and Living Cross. The source of every blessing in people's lives. And it was perfectly natural that the Cross of Christ became the most beloved holy relic and object of Christians. Saint Helen was the first to look for him and found him. He excavated the place of Golgotha, where the Cross had been thrown by the Jews and had been covered with various materials. And he discovered not only this, but also the crosses of the two robbers who crossed themselves with him.
