Message of Metropolitan Trikkis to students: "Every new school year is a new opportunity"translated

The Metropolitan of Trikki, Gardiki and Pyli, Mr. Chrysostomos, with his message to the students and teachers of the Holy Metropolis, addresses fatherly wishes for the start of the new school year 2026-2027, characterizing it as "a new road" full of "knowledge, friendships, dreams, efforts, joys but also difficulties" as well as "a new opportunity to become a little better than yesterday". His Eminence calls on the children to set high goals and not be afraid to dream, stressing that "every great journey begins with a small step" and that success requires "effort, patience and perseverance".

At the same time, he refers to disappointments and failures, underlining that "your value is not judged by a grade, by a failure or by the opinion of others". He also calls on the students to cultivate solidarity and love, noting: "Be kind to one another. Let no one be left alone."

Faith also has a special place in the message, with the Metropolitan exhorting the children to "keep God in your heart", to pray and to move forward "with faith, but also with your own daily effort".
