Festival of the Holy Monastery of the Holy Cross of Patrastranslated

The Holy and great Festival of the Holy Monastery of the Holy Cross of Patras, for the celebration of the Exaltation of the Holy and Life-giving Cross, was completed leaving behind a sweet spiritual fragrance, hope and uplifting in the hearts of all. After the established Sunday morning Divine Liturgy, the Holy Masses of the celebratory program began with the Great High Priestly Vespers with bread and divine sermon in the afternoon on 13/9, officiated by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Patras Mr. Chrysostomos, where we had the honor and blessing to welcome to the monastery.

On the day of the holiday, on the morning of Monday 14/9, a High Priestly Divine Liturgy was held after a divine sermon, presided over by the Theophilest Bishop of Kernitsa, Mr. Chrysanthos, while in the afternoon of the same day, a High Priestly Vespers was celebrated, with greetings to the Holy Cross where it concluded with a litany of the Holy Cross and Holy relics in the surrounding area of the Holy Monastery.
