Personal testimonies about the blessed Archbishop of Tirana, Durres and all Albania, Mr. Anastasios, his spiritual quests and his missionary ministry, were at the center of the presentation of the Professor of the Holy Great Monastery of Vatopedi, Elder Ephraim, at the 5th Orthodox Monastic Synod, which had as its central theme "Orthodox Monasticism and Mission" and was dedicated to the memory of the blessed Archbishop. On Thursday, October 15, the last day of the Synod, Elder Ephraim developed the theme "The Experiencing of the Light in Monasticism - The Highest Mission", conveying personal experiences and conversations with Archbishop Anastasios, through which his spiritual formation, humility and sacrificial offering to the Church of Albania were highlighted.

He made special reference to the blessed Archbishop's perception of Orthodoxy, underlining his characteristic phrase: "Orthodoxy must be noble". As he explained, spiritual nobility is linked to the overcoming of egoism and pettiness, as well as practical love for fellow human beings.
