Pemptoussia Social Tutor: Lessons in reading and reciting liturgical textstranslated

The Online Social Tutoring of Pemtousias announces the launch of new free courses in Reading, Recitation of the Liturgical Texts, which are aimed at adult beginners aged 18 and over. The courses will start in October 2026 and will be held remotely (online), offering the possibility of participation from every corner of Greece and abroad.

– Without any prerequisite knowledge on the part of the audience.

– No limit on the number of participants.

– The Gospel or the Apostle of each Sunday and major holiday, the Eothine Gospels, Obediences, Kontakia-Oikoi, Psalms, Liturgical Wishes, etc. will be taught.

Reading and Recitation will focus on:

– Attention to Punctuation (what do we do with the comma, full stop, semicolon, question mark).

– The stress of the words, that is, how we pronounce the acute, the heavy, the fragmented, the adverbs, etc.

– Of the various Grammatical Phenomena (i. Vowel length, ii. Vowel length, iii. Logical Units, iv. Tonic Units, v.…
