Sacred Supplications to the Most Holy Theotokos in the Metropolis of Corinthtranslated

The Holy Supplications to the Blessed Virgin Mary were performed in the Apostolic Holy Metropolis of Corinth with ecclesiastical fervor, during the first days of the month of August. On Sunday, August 2, 2026, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Corinth, Mr. Pavlos, officiated during the celebration of the Great Prayer at the Holy Church of Saints Constantine and Helen Kato Diminiou.

On Monday, August 3, 2026, His Eminence officiated at the Little Prayer held at the Holy Church of Agia Paraskevi in Pission, while on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, he officiated at the Great Prayer at the Holy Church of the Dormition of the Virgin in Xanthohori.

At the same time, the Most Reverend Bishop of Kenghreon, Mr. Agapios, officiated at the Holy Prayers that were held on Monday, August 3, at the Holy Church of the Assumption of the Theotokos Mulkios and on Tuesday, August 4, at the Holy Church of the Assumption of the Theotokos Soulinarios, conveying to everyone the paternal wishes and the blessing of the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Corinth, Mr. Pavlos.

Thanks for the news. I remember the service at the Church of the Dormition of the Mother of God in Xanthochori, where His Holiness Paul officiated - it's as if I see how the world gathers in the evening at such small Chapels. Here in Timișoara, we also had the Great Chapel last Tuesday, but not with as much order as there.

Thanks for the news. I also remember the service at Xanthochori, especially how the choir sang "Who is greater than you, Virgin" that evening. Here in Cluj, the chapels in August are shorter, but the world comes anyway, with its worries.

Thanks for the news. I liked that Bishop Pavlos served the Grand Paraclesia in the Church of Saints Constantine and Helena in Kato Dimenio on Sunday, and Bishop Agapius also served in Molki. Here in Homs, we pray the small Paraclese every evening in August, and people come right after work.

The services in Xanthochori and Kato Diminio sound so peaceful, especially with Metropolitan Pavlos leading the Great Paraklesis those evenings. Here in Wichita we also do the Small Paraklesis on Tuesday nights in August after work, and it's the same — folks slip in straight from the office with their lists of names. Thanks for the report.

In Heraklion the attendance is stable in the first days, then it drops a little because many go on vacation. I liked that in Kato Diminio the Great Supplication took place so early in August. In Patras, how many supplications do you make in total this month?
