Spiritual experiences with Elder Paisios the Sainttranslated

Father Ioannis Savvakis, archpriest of the Ecumenical Throne and head of the Holy Church of Agia Paraskevi N. Pentelis, talks to Dimitris Stroumbakos about his personal experiences from his acquaintance with Agios Paisios, when, just 18 years old, he visited Mount Athos in the 80s. As he characteristically mentions, the Saint left a deep and indelible imprint on him with his humility, wisdom and experience in the spiritual struggle. Near him you learned to fight against sin, while leaving you felt light, having met a man of God. Agios Paisios represented love, embraced children and accepted everyone with an open heart.
