Elder Ephraim Vatopedinos in Agios Eleftherios Chalandrio (VIDEO)translated

In the Holy Church of Agios Eleftherios Chalandrios, of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens, on Sunday 4th Luke, October 11, 2026, the Abbot of the Holy Great Monastery of Vatopedi, Geron Ephraim, officiated and spoke.  Vatopedi Fathers as well as clergy of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens collaborated with Elder Ephraim. During his speech, on the occasion of the Gospel passage with the parable of the sower, Elder Ephraim urged the congregation to live every moment of their lives with Christ. Every Christian can taste this experience of life in Christ only through the mysteries of our Church and especially the mystery of the Holy Eucharist.

At the end of the Divine Liturgy, the Elder pronounced an icon of the Holy Belt as a blessing in the church.

Afterwards, in the hall of the Holy Church, a spiritual speech was held by Elder Ephraim on the topic of "Elders and Gerontism".
