Bishop Bukombas officiated in the newly established Parish of Agia Akylinatranslated

In the newly established Missionary Parish of Agia Aquilina, in Kisesa, Mwanza, the Most Reverend Bishop Chrysostomos, the Most Reverend Bishop of Bukomba, was present on Sunday, September 6.
The Divine Liturgy was celebrated in a rented school hall of the Parish, as the Parish does not yet have a privately owned and built church.
The High Priestly Commissioner Fr. Theodoros Kayungi, Fr. Simon Kagoma, the Rev. Fr. Ephraim Alfred and the deacon Fr. Benedictos Steven collaborated. The Divine Liturgy was attended by believers from Mwanza, as well as from neighboring Parishes.
In his sermon, the Most High Theophilus referred to the parable of the Kingdom of Heaven, emphasizing the joy of the royal wedding and the cheerfulness of participating in the table of the Kingdom of God. As he pointed out, this joy is experienced by the faithful during our participation in the Divine Liturgy.
"Every Divine Liturgy is the union of God and people, the meeting of the faithful children of God", he said characteristically, pointing out that by participating in the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist we express our unity with Christ and His Church.
