A new space dedicated to the ecclesiastical, historical and folkloric heritage of Rhodes opens in the Holy Monastery of Skiadio, hosting more than 200 important relics connected to the liturgical life of the Orthodox Church and the centuries-old tradition of Virgin Skiadeni. It is good that the museum is being opened. Two hundred keimilia are a lot of interesting things, especially how to see what exactly those crosses and bowls of wood or stone were made of. I hope that one day I will go to Rhodes and see for myself, because in our Vinnytsia they also love such old things from the church.

It’s good that the museum is being opened at the monastery, and not somewhere in the city. Two hundred kilimiyas is serious, especially when they show how wood and stone are included in the service. In Yaroslavl, after services, they sometimes talk about such old things from churches; it would be interesting to compare.
