The Timios Kalamos from the Holy Great Monastery of Vatopedi for the first time in Thessalonikitranslated

With the blessing of the Holy Great Monastery of Vatopedi, the Timios Kalamos of our Lord Jesus Christ will make its first appearance from the Holy Mountain and will be transported to Thessaloniki for the blessing and consecration of the faithful people in the Holy Church of Saint Spyridon Triandaphyllou, from Wednesday, November 11, 2026, at 17:00, at the gates of the Holy Church.

Following this, a Doxology will be celebrated upon the arrival of the Timios Kalamos, with the Metropolitan of Sisani and Siatista, Archimandrite Athanasios, and the Metropolitan of Thessaloniki, Archimandrite Philotheos, officiating.

Immediately after the reception, a Prayer to the Lord Jesus Christ will be offered, while in the evening of the same day, from 20:00 to 00:30, an Hierarchical Vigil will take place, including Vespers, Matins, and High Liturgy, presided over by the Metropolitan of Sisani and Siatista, Archimandrite Athanasios.
