Music Education Pilot Program Presented at Archdiocese of America's 48th Clergy and Lay Assemblytranslated

A new program for music education, which aspires to strengthen the musical ministry in the parishes of the Holy Archdiocese of America, was presented during the 48th Clergy Assembly. In the workshop, "Music Education Leadership Initiative (MELI): Building the Future of Parish Music from Sunday School to Choir Loft", the National Forum of Greek Orthodox Church Musicians presented its new program, "MELI", which is still in the pilot phase. During the presentation, it was highlighted how the program can be integrated into parish life and respond to the diverse needs of people of all ages, with different experience and different roles in the parish, from clergy and choirmasters, to catechists and new parishioners.
