24 years of hierarchal ministry of Metropolitan Dimitrios of Irinoupolistranslated

With emotion and thanksgiving to God, on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at the Holy Church of Saint Catherine, at the Missionary Center of Saints Arsenius and Paisius, in the city of Morogoro in Eastern Tanzania, the divine service was held on the occasion of the feast of Saint Thomas the Apostle and the 24th anniversary of the ordination of the Most Reverend Metropolitan as Bishop of Irinoupolis and Seychelles Islands Mr. Dimitriou. In the Orthro and the Divine Liturgy, our Reverend Pastor presided over, co-offering priests, spiritual children from both the Holy Metropolis of Irinoupolis and from the Holy Metropolis of Arousa.

This prayer meeting was an opportunity to give thanks both for the feast of Saint Thomas, since His Eminence as a monk bore the name Thomas, and for the completion of 24 years since His Eminence's ordination as Bishop, on October 6, 2004, by the blessed Patriarch of Alexandria Peter VII.
