From Russia to Kazakhstan the right hand of Saint Spyridontranslated

In an atmosphere of deep emotion and reverence, the pilgrimage to the right hand of Saint Spyridon, one of the most honored Saints in the entire Christian world, was completed on Sunday, September 20, 2026 in Moscow. The capital of Russia was the last stop of the pilgrimage of the holy relic which left Corfu on August 17 and for 35 days it was placed on a pilgrimage successively in 13 regions of the country, being a source of blessing and spiritual reinforcement for millions of believers.

During the stay of the right hand of St. Spyridon in Moscow, more than 300,000 believers came from last Tuesday (15/9) to the Cathedral of Christ the Savior to venerate the holy relic. At the same time, clerics held Prayers in front of the altar with the holy relic and provided spiritual support to the thousands of pilgrims waiting in line.

On Sunday, September 20, 2026, before the departure of the holy relic, the Bishop of Egorievsk, Mr. Methodios, made a Holy Prayer to Saint Spyridon.
