Yesterday, Saturday, August 1, 2026, the day on which our Church celebrates the Advancement of the Holy and Life-giving Cross, was held in a climate of prayerful immersion and deep emotion in the Holy Metropolitan Church of Agios Achillios of Larissa, Archpriest of Larissa, and the thirty-year Holy Memorial of the blessed Metropolitan of Larissa and Tyrnavos Mr. Theologian. The Divine Liturgy was presided over by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Mesogaia and Lavreotiki, Mr. Nikolaos, co-celebrants of the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Ilio, Acharna and Petropolis, Mr. Athenagoros and the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Larissa and Tyrnavos, Mr. Ieronymos.
