Voluntary blood donation at the Holy Church of Agioi Anargyro Volostranslated

Continuously since 1999 the act of solidarity to support the Blood Bank of Dimitria Diocese

Voluntary blood donation for the 27th consecutive year took place on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, on the day of the feast of Saints Cosmas and Damian of the Romans at the Holy Church of Saints Anargyros Volos with the aim of strengthening the Blood Bank of the Holy Metropolis of Dimitrias and Almyros and spreading the offering to fellow human beings.

From 9 in the morning until 1 in the afternoon, the Mobile Blood Donation Unit of the "Achillopoulei" Hospital of Volos was located in the courtyard of the Holy Church of Agioi Anargyroi to conduct the blood donation to which fellow citizens responded.

The Holy Church of Agioi Anargyro has continuously for 27 years carried out two voluntary blood donations on the day of the feast of Agioi Anargyro, on November 1st and July 1st, in the context of cultivating the value of solidarity among the parishioners.

27 години без прекъсване, от 1999 година — това е дълго време. Моята дъщеря работи в кръвната банка на болницата в Русе, и тя казва, че през лятото винаги имат нужда от донори. Може ли нашата църква в Русе да опита нещо такова следващата година?

Qué bueno que lleven 27 años seguidos sin faltar ni una vez, desde 1999. Acá en la parroquia también organizamos donaciones, pero no con tanta constancia. Ojalá la iglesia de Ruse pueda arrancar el año que viene, sobre todo porque en verano siempre hace falta más sangre, como dice la hija de Hristo.

Qué lindo ver esa constancia desde el '99, justo en la fiesta de los Santos Anargiros. Acá en Buenos Aires también solemos organizar donaciones en la parroquia, pero como decís, a veces falta esa regularidad. ¿La hija de Hristo te contó si en Ruse ya tienen fecha para empezar el año que viene?
