Reception consecration of first-year students at the Agricultural School of the University of Thessalytranslated

The Consecration for the start of the new Academic Year was performed today, 14/10, by Rev. Metropolitan of Dimitrias Mr. Ignatios, in the Amphitheater of the Agricultural School of the University of Thessaly, in the context of the official reception of the first-year students.

The ceremony was attended by the Rector of the University of Thessaly Mr. Charalambos Billinis, the Vice-Rector Mr. Panagiotis Plageras, the Professor of Genetics of Aquatic Animal Organisms and internal member of the Board of Management of the University of Thessaly Mr. Athanasios Hexadaktylos, the Dean of the School Mr. Dimitrios Vafeidis, the President of the Department Ms. Panagiota Panagiotakis, as well as members of the academic community and students.

After the Consecration, His Eminence thanked the Rector's Authorities for the invitation and expressed his joy for the opportunity given to him every year to be close to the new students, at the start of their academic career.
