The Federation of American Cypriot Organizations honors three expatriatestranslated

"Cyprus has shown one of the most brilliant cultures in the history of the world" said the Most Reverend Archbishop of America Mr. Elpidophoros at the annual honorary dinner of the Federation of American Cypriot Organizations, which took place on Friday, September 25. "We need to continue to pray, to hope and to act effectively so that Cyprus obtains a future worthy of its history." The dinner was held at the Terrace on the Park, Queens, and coincided with the 75th anniversary of Confederation. Honorary presidents of the event were the Archbishop Mr. Elpidophoros and the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulidis, who was in New York for the UN General Assembly. The Archbishop performed the opening prayer and, at the end of the event, gave his blessing.
