Solemn Vespers at the Holy Church of Agios Anargyros in Agios Trimithiastranslated

With ecclesiastical splendor and rapture, the solemn Vespers was celebrated in the Holy Church of Agioi Anargyros in Agios Trimithias, on the occasion of the feast of the glorious and miracle-working Saints Anargyros Cosmas and Damianos.

During the service, His Holiness the Metropolitan of Tamasos and Orenis and Isaias addressed a spiritual speech to the faithful, referring to the life and contribution of the Saints Anargyri, who are eternal models of selfless love, contribution and ministry to the suffering man.

Special mention was made of the value of selfless giving, as Saints Cosmas and Damianos treated the sick without receiving remuneration, motivated by love for fellow human beings and faith in Christ.
