An excavator operator was fatally injured near the Holy Monastery of Iberontranslated

The fatal injury was to the 52-year-old excavator operator who was working near the Holy Monastery of Ibera on Mount Athos and fell into an adjacent cliff when the machine overturned. After being pulled out by firefighters, the 52-year-old was transported by EKAB ambulance to the Karion Health Center unconscious. A little while later, according to the Greek Police, he was pronounced dead.
