Makarios of Australia was congratulated by Agios Dimitrios the Prime Minister for the Sinai Monasterytranslated

The Archbishop of Australia, Mr. Makarios, expressed his congratulations to the Prime Minister of Greece both for finding a solution to the issue of the Sinai Monastery and for the return of relics from Bulgaria that had been stolen from monasteries in northern Greece, from the Holy Church of Agios Dimitrios of the same name in the Municipality of Attica, before Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
In more detail, as the Archbishop of Australia Mr. Makarios initially stated: "Since we say that we must say good things, today I must also dutifully say a few additional good things. The first, that we have with us the Prime Minister of our country, the dear Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis, whom I welcome, and on behalf of our Ecumenical Patriarch I greet, but also on behalf of the Blessed Archbishop of Athens and all Greece, but, if I may, Mr. Prime Minister, and on behalf of distant, which I say nearby, Australia, the diaspora, of of our people, which exceeds one million Greek Orthodox believers.
You have wishes and love from everyone, faithful prayers for your work which is valuable and difficult and we all recognize it, given the conditions that Europe and the whole world are living in today...
