"DIMITRIA 2026" 3rd day - "Holy Gervasios of Patras: The imitator of the Myroblitos Martyr"translated

On Tuesday, September 29, in the afternoon, in the Holy Church of Agios Dimitrios, Municipality of Agios Dimitrios, as part of the festive events called "DIMITRIA 2026", a speech was held on the topic: "Saint Gervasios of the Patrons: The imitator of the Mʋroꞵlytoʋ Martyr", by the Panosiology Archimandrite Father Gervasios Parakente, Hierarch of the Holy Metropolis of Patras. The speaker, through his charismatic speech, unfolded the virtues of Saint Gervasios of Patras, making special mention of the influence that the Saint had on the spiritual life of Patras, as he characteristically said: "Recognizing the holiness of this person, the church puts the stamp of authenticity on the spiritual life and tradition of the city that Patras has. As all this is the result of the spiritual seed that Agios Gervasios sowed in the city of Patras for about 50 years."
