Donation of cardiac ultrasound machine from the Holy Metropolis of Serres to the Serres General Hospitaltranslated

The Holy Diocese of Serres and Nigritis donated a state-of-the-art portable cardiac ultrasound machine to the Serres General Hospital. The new Alpion XCUBE i9 ECO type machine, with a total value of 14,756 euros, was purchased and offered by the Church of Serres, at the request of the Governor of the Nursing Foundation, Mr. Christos Kopatsaris and the Director of the Cardiology Clinic of the Hospital, Mrs. Maria Giannadakis. The new cardiac ultrasound machine was delivered today, Thursday, July 23, 2026, by the head of the Hospital Chapel of Agia Aikaterini Serres, Rev. Protopresbyter Fr. Iordanis Themelidis and the person in charge of the GE.FT.T. of the Church of Serres, Rev. Protopresbyter Father Christodoulos Kamberidis, as representatives of the sept Pastor of the Serrai Church, Metropolitan Mr. Theologian. It was already placed in the Cardiology Clinic of the General Hospital and was immediately put into operation, in order to cover the relevant needs of the entire prefecture.
