Multi-priestly mass in Thessaloniki for the Patron saint Agios Dimitrios (PHOTO)translated

Thessaloniki solemnly honors its patron and Patron Saint, Agios Dimitrios Myrovlytis. In the Holy Pilgrimage Church of the Saint, thousands of believers flock from Greece and the Balkans to worship the holy relics of the Saint as well as the holy icon of Panagia Hozoviotissa from the homonymous Holy Monastery of Amorgos which celebrates together with the Saint of Thessaloniki.  THESSALONIKI – Photo report: Raphael Georgiadis, ope.gr

In the morning, a Multi-hierarchical Divine Liturgy was celebrated in which the Metropolitan of Chalkidos, Istiaia and Northern Sporades Mr. Chrysostomos presided.
