In the context of the celebration of the Day of the Greek Police and the memory of its Patron Saint, Saint Artemios, yesterday evening a Solemn Vespers was celebrated in the Holy Chapel of Saint Artemios, which is located in the Mansion of the Police Directorate of Magnesia, patron of the Most Reverend Metropolitan Demitrias and Almyros Mr. Ignatios , in the presence of representatives of the local Authorities, officers and executives of the Hellenic Police. During his speech, His Holiness referred to the timeless relationship of the Orthodox faith with the life and tradition of the Greek people, pointing out the importance of the presence of a Patron Saint in every aspect of social life and, especially, in the work of the Security Forces.
