Pastoral tour of Metropolitan Irenaios in the unspoiled Prespestranslated

On the afternoon of Monday, September 28, 2026, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Florina, Prespa and Eordaia Mr. Irenaios went to the area of Prespa, where he met and communicated with residents of the settlements, listening closely to issues concerning their daily life. The following morning, Tuesday, September 29, the Metropolitan visited the Primary School of Agios Germanos, where he met with the teachers and students and talked with them in a warm and direct atmosphere.

He wished the children health, progress and a creative school year, while he thanked the teachers for the work they do every day in the Prespa area.

During the visit, the students were offered stationery from the Philanthropic Organization "APOSTOLI" of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens, which arrived in our area with the blessing of His Beatitude the Archbishop of Athens and all Greece, Mr. Hieronymou. This offer is yet another practical expression of the Church of Greece's care for the Akrites and especially for their children and families.
