Diocese of Korea: For the first time, a camp period for parents was heldtranslated

This year, for the first time, a camping season for parents with their children was held at the camping facilities of the Parish of St. North in Chuncheon City, Orthodox Diocese of Korea and Exarchate of Japan from August 7 to 9, 2026. By participating in common worship, in confession, in spiritual discussions concerning the upbringing of their children, in private discussions with the clergy, in eating, and in other common events, the parents had the opportunity to get to know each other better, to feel like a family and to live in an atmosphere of Christian brotherhood.

Metropolitan Mr. Ambrosios praised the fact that many of the current parents who participated in the program had been campers in the same area.

The last camp season of Metropolis for this summer has ended, leaving the participants with feelings of deep satisfaction and the desire that the end of the camp means the start of preparation for the next parents' camp.
