Consecration for the new swimming year in NOAtranslated

With the performance of the established consecration by our Venerable Metropolitan Mr. Anthimos, the new swimming and sailing year 2026-2027 began at the Alexandroupolis Nautical Club, at the facilities of the "Demosthenis Michalentzakis" Municipal Swimming Pool.

The ceremony was attended by athletes from all sections of the Club, including swimming, technical swimming, water polo, competitive triangle sailing, open sea sailing and underwater activities, as well as parents, coaches, members of the Board of Directors and friends of sailing. The event was graced by the presence of the Mayor of Alexandroupolis, Mr. Yiannis Zamboukis, who congratulated the administration, the coaches and the athletes for the work they are doing and wished them a creative and successful competition season.

The Reverend Mr. Anthimos, addressing the children, the young athletes and their families, wished a good and blessed year with health, strength and progress. He expressed his joy at the dynamic presence of young people in sports and underlined the importance of sports as a means of physical and spiritual cultivation.
