The Interparliamentary Assembly of Orthodoxy at the Patriarchate of Alexandriatranslated

On Sunday, September 13, 2026, thirty members of the Interparliamentary Assembly of Orthodoxy, coming from various countries, including Greece, Egypt, Romania, Albania, Bulgaria, Jordan and other countries, attended the Divine Liturgy at the Holy Patriarchal Monastery of St. George in Old Cairo. The Divine Liturgy was celebrated by His Beatitude the Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and all Africa, Mr. Theodore II, while the Most Reverend Metropolitans of Memphis, Mr. Nikodimos, of Nubia, Mr. Savvas, of Zambia and Mozambique, Mr. Ioannis, and the Theophileste Bishop of Mareotis, Mr. Damascinos, were also present.
Before the end of the Divine Liturgy, His Beatitude welcomed with warm words the members of the Interparliamentary Assembly of Orthodoxy and expressed his joy for their honorable presence in a place deeply connected with the history and spiritual path of the Patriarchate of Alexandria.
