"100 years of Faneromeni": Official presentation of the anniversary volume in Holargostranslated

Religious and cultural events take place on Sunday, November 8 at the Cathedral Sanctuary of Panagia Faneromeni Cholargos, on the occasion of the celebration of the parish's 100 years of life. On Sunday morning, shortly before the Dismissal of the Divine Liturgy, the Founding Memorial is held for the repose of the souls of the Priests, Commissioners, Cantors, Youth, Members of the Philoptochos Brotherhood, Catechists, Catechists and all the Collaborators of the Holy Church who are now in the triumphant Church.

The parish honors with respect all those who, within a century, with all the disposition of their souls, ministered to the Church of Panagia Faneromeni and handed it over to the younger generations.

In the afternoon at 5.30 pm, the Great Solemn Vespers of the feast of Agios Nektarios is celebrated, after Artoklasia. At Vespers, there will be a procession inside the Holy Church and the veneration of the holy Reliquary, which was created by the blessed Fr. Ioannis Ventouris, founder of the new Church, and was recently repatriated to the Holy Church and which contains a fragment of the holy relic of Agios Nektarios, Bishop of Pentapolis, the Miracle Worker.
