With a special theatrical performance, dedicated to the anniversary of October 28, 1940, the Cultural Foundation of the Holy Metropolis of Aetolia and Acarnania "Saint Eugene the Aetolos" honored the historical memory and the struggles of the Greek people for freedom. With particular success, in an atmosphere of emotion and with strong feelings of historical memory, the anniversary theatrical event of the Culture Foundation, entitled "Until spring comes - A story of love for the homeland (1939 - 1944)", was held on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at the Papastrateio Megaro Agriniou, which was presented by the Theater Group of the Foundation, in the presence of His Eminence the Metropolitan Aetolia and Akarnania Mr. Damaskinos.
