The Hyeropsaltes of Demetrias honored their Patron Saint John Koukouzelistranslated

In a solemn way, the Association of Hieropsaltos of our Metropolis celebrated the memory of the Patron saint of Saint John Koukouzelos, in an atmosphere of musical celebration. On Sunday 11/10, in the Holy Church of Evangelistria N. Ionia, the Great Solemn Vespers was held, presided over by Rev. Metropolitan Dimitriados, Mr. Ignatiou, in the presence of the Member of Parliament of Magnesia, Ms. Zetta Makris, and a large number of Chanters, the Professors of the School of Byzantine Music and its students.

At the end of Vespers, Rev. Mr. Ignatios performed the Consecration at the beginning of the new academic year of the School and then, the President of the Association of Chanters and Lead Chantor of the Metropolitan Church of Agios Nikolaos Volos, Mr. Efstathios Grammenos, pointed out that today, "is a celebration of unity, as, all together, the members of the Association, the Teachers and the students of the School, concluded on this, we honor our Holy Patron". Mr. President thanked the Director of the School, for the cooperation, the Head of the Church, Archim. Amfilochio Milotos, for the warm hospitality and, finally, Rev.
