The Ecumenical Patriarch has arrived in Great Britain - He will have a meeting in Scotland with King Charles IIItranslated

The Ecumenical Patriarch, Mr. Bartholomew. His Holiness was welcomed at Heathrow Airport by the Pastor, Rev. Archbishop Nikitas of Thyatira and M. Bretagne, in the presence of the Ambassador of Greece Ioannis Tsaousis. During his week-long stay in Old Albion, His Holiness will have a one-on-one meeting with His Majesty the King of the United Kingdom Charles III, at Balmoral Castle, Scotland.

Today, His Holiness will officiate at the Divine Liturgy that will be celebrated at the I. Cathedral of St. Sophia in Bayswater, London, on a day when the Pastor Rev. Archbishop of Thyatira and M. Bretagne, Mr. Nikitas.

During his stay, His Holiness will be awarded an Honorary Doctorate of the University of Chichester and will speak at the University of Oxford, while he will visit the I. Patriarchal and St. John the Forerunner Monastery in Essex, where he will officiate at the Divine Liturgy on Sunday, September 20.
