In the presence of the Minister of Citizen Protection, Mr. Michael Chrysochoidis, on the 4th of September this year, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Didymoteicho, Orestia and Soufli, Mr. Damaskinos presided over the inauguration of the newly built facilities of the Police Department of Didymoteicho, and the Department of Prosecution and Investigation of Crimes in Didymoteicho and the Border Guard Department in Isaakios. Syritoudis, the deputy commander of the XVI Division Brigadier Kon. Kostoglou, His Holiness the Mufti of Didymoteicho Emin Serif and representatives of institutions and bodies.

It's good they finally have proper buildings for the police and border guards out there in Didymoteicho. The Metropolitan was right to thank them for keeping order along the river and the land border. Praying for their safety every day.
