Consecration of the opening of Catechetical Schools of the Cathedral of Agios Nikolaos Kalamariatranslated

With great joy and special enthusiasm, the opening celebration of the new catechetical year 2026-2027 took place in the Holy Cathedral of Agios Nikolaos Aretsos, in an afternoon that filled the space with children, parents, smiles, games and beautiful moments. From the first moment, the turnout was truly impressive. The place was filled with families and children, who came to get to know the catechism, to meet friends and catechists and to participate in a celebration that was different, lively and full of activities.

The event started with the welcoming of the children and parents and the Sanctification, marking in the most beautiful way the beginning of the new year. This was followed by the presentation of the catechists, so that young and old could get to know the people who will be next to the children throughout the catechetical year. A special moment of the opening was the showing of the video, created by catechists and children. He presented the meaning of the catechetical in a special and moving way.

The celebration then moved outside, where a veritable little festival of activities awaited the children.
