Moral outburst for the elevation of the Holy Cross, in the Church of the Crucified Kastella, Piraeustranslated

Dotted with exhilaration, but also magnificence, the glorious church of the Crucified in the beautiful Kastella, in Piraeus, celebrated on Monday 14-9-26, the supreme feast of our Christianity, the raising of the honorable and life-giving cross. Of the "guardian of all the universe" which is the supreme symbol of our Orthodox faith. And on this major holiday of ours, the people of Piraeus moved so much with their presence, the beautiful suburb of Kastella, which smells of the authenticity and sincerity of ordinary people, and they pervaded this excellent internal moral relationship of Hellenism, with Orthodoxy. The church of Kastella, decorated with the banner of the cross eagles of Byzantium, which proclaims in the wide avenue of time the magnificence of its empire, but also overwhelmed by the lyrical orthodox sentiment of the believers, emerged a unique atmosphere of moral exhilaration, which filled the souls of the Christians, who honored with their presence, the supreme holiday of orthodoxy.
