At the Transfiguration Monastery of Dryovunou, Metropolitan Amfilochios of Kissamostranslated

Guest of Rev. Metropolitan Sisaniou and Siatist Mr. Athanasios, Rev. Metropolitan of Kissamos and Selinos Mr. Amfilochios participated in the holy festival at the Transfiguration Monastery of Sotiros Dryovunou where, modestly and solemnly, this top Despotic holiday was celebrated. The respected Elder and Professor of the Monastery, Stefanos, with his graceful entourage, welcomed Rev. Pastor Mr. Athanasios with the invited Hierarch Mr. Amfilochios.

The Vespers was officiated by the visiting Hierarch, Mr. Amfilochios, with the prayer of Rev. Metropolitan of Koritsa, Mr. Anastasiou. This was followed by processions around the Monastery and the blessing of the loaves. Holy Vigil.

On the day of the patron saint, a High Priestly mass was held, of the Orthros chorostatus of the Rev. Pastor Mr. Athanasios, with the participation of the Professor of the Holy Monastery Esfigmenos Mr. Bartholomeus, the fathers of the Monastery as well as fathers from other Holy Monasteries.

The Divine Liturgy was followed by sacred litanies and the blessing of the fruits of the earth.
