Dimitriados Ignatios: "Give the children your heart"translated

A crowd of teachers of all levels flooded the Metropolitan Holy Church of Agios Nikolaos Volos yesterday, to participate in the holy Mystery of the Eucalyptus, performed by Rev. Metropolitan of Dimitrias, Mr. Ignatios, responding to the wishes of the Directorates of Primary and Secondary Education of Magnesia. At the end of the Sacrament, His Holiness praised the initiative of the educational community for the celebration of the Eucharist, "which highlights the need to ask for God's mercy for the work we do. We pray tonight for all of you, recognizing the great work you are doing. You have in your hands the treasure of our country, our children, our future. We know your troubles, the difficulties you face. Give the children your heart. Later, they will remember not so much what you wrote on the blackboard but what you wrote in their hearts, what you offered them in the difficult moments of their lives...".
