In El Alamein the tripartite Greece-Cyprus-Egypt with the Sinai Monastery issue as a backgroundtranslated

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is going to El Alamein today. At 12.00 (local time and Greek time) the Prime Minister will have a bilateral meeting with the President of Egypt Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.

At 13.30 an informal tripartite meeting of the leaders of Greece - Cyprus - Egypt will be held.

At 14.30 the three leaders will make statements to the press.

According to information, among the topics that will be on the table of Mr. Mitsotakis' discussion with Abdel Fattah al-Sisi will be that of the Sinai Monastery, as the discovery of the "golden ratio" is pending for the signing of an agreement between the Egyptian government and the Sinaitic Brotherhood that will define the ownership regime.

According to the information coming from Cairo, the Egyptian side - through the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Justice - seems to have submitted its proposal to the Sinaitic Brotherhood, which is now called upon to take the final decision on whether it agrees to the Cairo terms or whether it will request some modification.
