Call for the support of the Holy Foundation of the Pontians of America and Canada by the Bishop of Diokleiatranslated

A call to strengthen the Holy Foundation of the Pontians of America and Canada in every way, was addressed on Sunday, in West Milford, New Jersey, by the Bishop of Diokleia, Mr. Nektarios, who represented the Archbishop of America at the annual celebration of the Pontians in their own pilgrimage, which again this year gathered hundreds of believers. The exhortation of Bishop Mr. Nektarios came as a reminder that all that has been done so far, was done with effort and sacrifices and needs to be maintained and strengthened with new projects in order to welcome the new generations of Pontians in the diaspora in the future.

After all, the plans are ready and will be implemented very soon and this shows the love and respect for the work of the pioneers, but at the same time it shows that the message of the right ministry and the transmission of historical memory to the younger ages.

What the old ones built with sweat, will slowly pass into the hands of the young, but of course, the feeling of nostalgia and memory, which was strong on both days of the festival, cannot be absent.
