Svätý kostol svätého Paisios z Agioreitos v Ierapetra oslavovalpreložené

V nedeľu Matúša VI. (ochrnutého), 12. júla 2026, na sviatok pamiatky svätého Paisios z Agioreitas, najctihodnejší metropolita Ierapytni a Sitia pán Kyrillos odslúžil bohoslužbu Orthros a potom slávil božskú liturgiu v slávnostnej kaplnke svätého Paisios v Agioreitskej katedrále sv. Ipetra. Počas festivalu bol uložený kúsok svätej relikvie svätého Arsenia z Kapadócie na uctievanie a posvätenie veriacich.

Na podnet reverenda metropolitu pána Kyrillosa hosť vo Svätej metropole Ierapytni Panosiol kázal včas Božie slovo. Hlavný Augustinos Auxonidis, veľkňaz Eordaia Svätej metropoly Florina, Prespa a Eordaia, ktorý v jednoduchom, priamom a zároveň teologickom prejave poukázal na svätosť ako na aplikáciu evanjeliového slova a na hlavné charakteristiky cteného moderného ľudáckeho svätca Paisia. Ako zdôraznil, jeho prvou vlastnosťou a spoločnou vlastnosťou všetkých svätých je pokora, pričom veľký svätec našej Cirkvi Paisios sa vyznačoval aj aktívnym a bystrým darom, ako aj radosťou z mučeníctva, chorôb tela a...
