Metropolitan Artis Kallinikos: "Man's repentance becomes a heavenly festival of Angels"translated

On the afternoon of Saturday, November 7, 2026, a Great Vesper was celebrated in the celebratory old Holy Monastery of Panmegisto Taxiarchos Loutrotopou Artis, patron of the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Artis, Mr. Kallinikos.

Before Vespers, a fragment of the Holy Relic of Agios Kosmas of Aitolos was received, which will remain for veneration in the Church, throughout the solemn Rites.

In his Sermon, His Holiness referred to the importance of repentance and Holy Confession, emphasizing characteristically, that "man's repentance becomes a heavenly feast of Angels".

He called the faithful to return to God with humility and trust in His love, cultivating daily forgiveness and love for fellow human beings.
