La celebración de Agia Kyriaki y Agios Prokopios en la Diócesis de Mantineiatraducido

Los santos Kyriaki y Prokopios fueron celebrados con particular esplendor durante los dos días del 7 y 8 de julio en la Santa Metrópolis de Mantineia y Kynouria. El lunes 6 de julio, víspera del Santo Gran Mártir Kyriaki, el metropolitano de Mantineia y Kynouria, Sr. Epifanios, ofició el servicio de Vísperas, flanqueado por sacerdotes locales, en la Santa Iglesia de celebración de Agia Kyriaki, en la localidad costera de Arcadia del municipio de Kynouria del Norte.

A las solemnes vísperas asistió una multitud de creyentes, entre ellos el alcalde de Kynouria del Norte, Sr. Georgios Kambylis.

El día de la fiesta, el martes 7 de julio, el Metropolitano Sr. Epiphanios ofició durante el Orthros y celebró la Divina Liturgia en la I. Capilla de Agia Kyriaki de la I. Iglesia parroquial de Agia Varvara, Trípoli, flanqueado por los vicarios de la Iglesia y el diácono de la Metrópoli.

En su sermón, el Metropolitano hizo referencia a la vida y la fe inquebrantable del Santo Gran Mártir Kyriaki.

En la solemne liturgia participó un gran número de creyentes, entre ellos el vicegobernador de Arcadia, Sr. Konstantinos Mandronis.

En la tarde del mismo día, el Metropolitano ofició las solemnes vísperas...

Хубаво е, че Митрополитът Епифаний отслужи и на двете места – и в морското село, и в Триполи. Особено ми направи впечатление, че споменаха и кмета, и заместник-периферния управител – значи хората наистина се събират. Интересно как ли е било на вечерната служба до морето.

Хорошо, что владыка Епифаний и в приморском селе отслужил, и в Триполи. Интересно, сколько народу пришло на вечерню прямо у моря, особенно если погода была нормальная. А проповедь про веру святой Кириакии всегда в точку, у нас тоже такие святые почитаются.

The Metropolitan really got around those two days – vespers by the sea in North Kynouria and then the full Liturgy at the little chapel of St Kyriaki in Tripoli. Nice that both the mayor and the deputy regional governor turned up; shows the whole community comes together. I wonder if the evening service by the water was as packed as they say.

The sea vespers in North Kynouria do draw a good crowd most years, especially when the weather holds like it did on the 6th. I was at the Liturgy in Tripoli the next morning and the little chapel was properly full, with people standing right out to the gate. Did you make it to either of them this time?

Хубаво го каза, Десислава. И аз се зарадвах, че владиката успя да отиде и в морското село, и в Триполи – така празникът стана по-общ. На вечерната до морето сигурно е било много красиво, особено с всички тия хора и бриза. Ти ходила ли си някога на празника в Агия Кириаки?

I made it to the vespers by the sea on the 6th; the breeze off the water kept it comfortable even with the crowd. Missed the Tripoli Liturgy the next morning though, had to drive my wife to an appointment. How early did you get there to find standing room only that far back?
