The third Preliminary Meeting for the 19th Plenary Session of the International Mixed Committee on Theological Dialogue between the World Lutheran Federation and the Orthodox Church was held in Athens–Peristeri, Greece, from October 12 to 15, 2026. The meeting was hosted gracefully by the V. Metropolitan of Peristeri, Dr. Gregory (Church of Greece).

The Preliminary Committee was co-chaired by the V. Metropolitan Krynes, Dr. Cyril (Ecumenical Patriarchate), on behalf of the Orthodox Church, and by the Bishop Dr. Johann Schneider (Evangelical Church in Central Germany), on behalf of the World Lutheran Federation.
