The Transfiguration of Saint John the Theologian, the Glorious Apostle and Evangelist, was celebrated with particular splendor and enthusiasm, today, September 26, 2026, in the celebratory Church of Saint John the Theologian in Stathaiika, Argos-Mycenae Municipality, in Argolis. On the eve of the holiday, the Great Solemn Vespers after Artoklasia was celebrated by the Preacher of the Holy Metropolis of Argolis, Archimandrite Fr. Chrysostomou Papoulesis, with the participation of local priests and the presence of many believers.

After the completion of Vespers, the procession of the Holy Icon of Saint John the Theologian around the Holy Church followed, in an atmosphere of special reverence.

The vicar of the Holy Church, Father Nikolaos Notis, warmly thanked the clergy who participated in the celebration, as well as all the faithful who came to honor the Apostle and Evangelist John the Theologian.
