In the newly built Holy Metropolitan Chapel of Panagia Myrtidiotissa, on Sunday September 27, 2026, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Neapolis and Stavroupolis Mr. Varnavas officiated. His Holiness, in his sermon, referred to the naming of the new Holy Chapel. "Our nostalgia for Paradise breeds in us the love for green, for vegetation. For this reason, the honor was chosen for Panagia Myrtidiotissa, whose holy Icon was revealed in the myrtles", he emphasized.

Afterwards, the Bishop delivered the messages of the Gospel passage, pointing out that Christ's words to Peter "from now on, be men" clearly define the call to missionary work.

Present were the Mayor of Pavlo Mela Mr. Dimitris Aslanidis, the Member of Parliament Mr. Theodoros Karaoglou, the donor Mr. Stavros Andreadis and his family, as well as believers who took the construction of the new Metropolitan Chapel as a special blessing.
