Chrysostomos of Eleftheroupolis: Like the Apostles in the storm, so Christians in difficulties should call on Christtranslated

On Sunday, August 2, 2026, Sunday of Matthew IX, His Eminence the Metropolitan of Eleftheroupolis, Mr. Chrysostomos, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the parish Church of Agios Nikolaos in Nea Peramos, flanked by the vicar of the parish, Fr. Panagiotos Halatas and the Deacon, Fr. The Divine Word was preached to the pious Christians by His Holiness, taking occasion from the Gospel passage of the Lord's walking on the waters. For this reason, the Lord forced His disciples to depart by ship, while He Himself withdrew to the mountain for prayer, revealing that His Kingdom "is not of this world".
