St. George's Cathedral Stockholm: New work and call for supporttranslated

The Holy Metropolis of Sweden and all Scandinavia announces the completion of two new projects in the Cathedral of St. George in Stockholm: the installation of a modern microphone and sound coverage system, adapted to the needs of the church, as well as the installation of new carpets, with the aim of beautifying and maintaining the intimate atmosphere of the sacred space. According to the announcement of the Holy Metropolis, the interventions are part of the ongoing effort to preserve, functionally upgrade and highlight the historic Cathedral, which is the spiritual and administrative center of the Metropolis and an important point of reference for the Orthodox presence in Scandinavia.

On the occasion of the completion of the works, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Sweden and all Scandinavia, Mr. Kleopas, appeals to parishioners, friends, donors and benefactors to contribute, according to their means, to cover the relevant expenses, stressing that every donation is practical support for the historic Cathedral and the continuation of the offering tradition of the faithful.
