"Let us not remain idle": The call of Metropolitan Timotheus during the three-day pastoral tourtranslated

A pastoral tour of the parishes of the Holy Metropolis took place during the three days of August 8 to 10, 2026, by our Most Reverend Metropolitan Mr. Timotheus, conveying his blessing to the faithful and offering words of spiritual edification and consolation. On Saturday, August 8, he celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Holy Church of Agios Dimitrios T.K. Vrangian. On Sunday, August 9, he officiated at the procession of Orthros and celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Holy Church of Agios Nikolaos T.K. Argyriou, while on the evening of the same day he officiated at the Vespers and the Holy Prayer to the Most Holy Theotokos in the Holy Church of Panmegisto Taxiarhon T.K. Grybianon.

During the services, through the apostolic and gospel readings, but also on the occasion of the great holidays of the period, a single spiritual reflection was developed: how man can transform his faith from an occasional presence in his life into a daily experience, struggle and journey towards Christ.
