The message of the Metropolitan of Lefkada to the studentstranslated

The Reverend Metropolitan of Lefkada and Ithaca Mr. Theofilos sent his message to the student community, teachers and parents, on the occasion of the start of the new school year 2026-2027. Among other things, His Holiness wishes the students to have abundant grace from God.

The message in detail:

my dear children,

At the beginning of the new school year I would like to send you a fatherly greeting of love and wholehearted wishes. May our God, the Eternal Source of Wisdom and Knowledge, shower you with abundant grace and keep

your heart open, to absorb like a sponge all that is good and blessed to experience in the warm embrace of your school community your ears ready to hear whatever edifying things your good teachers and professors teach you your eyes wide open, to discern any mischief that may lie before you give your mind an opportunity to assimilate what the Apostle Paul says to the Philippians: whatever is true, whatever is modest, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovable and reputable, whatever is virtuous and praiseworthy you meet on your way.
